Stockholm, Sweden — November 29, 2018 — BRINDIE – affordable branding for indies is a new branding service for game developers. BRINDIE means ordering complete store pages and online presence creation for a fixed price. BRINDIE is launching in BETA today, and can be accessed here:

BRINDIE is available in 4 tiers:

  • BRINDIE Free ( is a free & open source collection of vector based templates in .ai formats, as well as a list of asset sizes for 17 online services, including Steam, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google Store, Reddit, Discord and more. This collection drastically reduces the time to create all needed assets for a game’s store fronts and online presence. BRINDIE Basic is continuously updated with new templates
  • BRINDIE Basic ( means creating an optimised Steam, Facebook and Twitter presence based on the developer’s existing materials, such as game design notes, key art and/ or UI elements. This service includes store descriptions, keywords, hashtags and more. BRINDIE Basic costs  €2000
  • BRINDIE ADVANCED ( means creating an optimised Steam, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit and LinkedIn presence, as well as setting up Twitch and Discord channels, ready to link & use. This service includes generating all needed assets, descriptions, keywords and hashtags. BRINDIE Advanced costs €5000
  • BRINDIE CUSTOM ( launching Q1 2019 – will allow developers to pick & choose the store fronts and services they need, from a selection of services that Valiant has expertise in (currently 17, and counting)

BRINDIE also offers on-demand additional services ( such as production & project management support, event planning and logo design.

BRINDIE means no revshare, recoup or confusing results – the Storefronts and Online presence, as well as the results belongs to the game developer, forever.

“Brindie is a service developed by indiedevs for indiedevs. We are Valiant Game Studio AB and we develop the episodic adventure game set in a fantasy version of the American Roaring 1920s, Pendula Swing. When we started this project, we considered finding a publisher. But our game is niche and we also wanted to maintain control over our games and our revenue sources. While there are many great publishers out there, we couldn’t find someone that targets our niche – which is meaningful, relaxing, thought provoking games. We then used the services of a marketing & PR company, but traditional games marketing also does not quite fit our players. So we self published. In our experience, the best action we took that yielded sales was to optimise our online presence.

Self publishing is definitely a doable task for any game developer like ourselves. But it is complex and time consuming especially because each storefront and online service has its own particular requests and special ways to optimise. We created what we now call BRINDIE Free while doing all this work for our game, Pendula Swing, primarily to help ourselves. Then we realised we have so many game developer friends in our situation – so we made all our vector templates available for free on GitHub and they were very well received.

This is when we realised there is no clear and upfront service to get help with this work. Thanks to suggestions from our indiedev friends, we designed BRINDIE Basic, Advanced and Custom. The idea is super simple: we create your store fonts and online presence based on your existing development materials and using our extensive experience.
