Charming Card-Battler KreatureKind launches today on Xbox and PlayStation!
Stockholm, Sweden – June 27, 2025 – Valiant Game Studio, in partnership with publisher Aurora Punks, is launching the cozy hand-drawn card battler KreatureKind on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. In a colorful world where empathy takes center stage, players resolve conflicts through card-based debates instead of combat. Along the narrative-rich journey, they’ll encounter quirky characters and face meaningful choices that shape the story.
“KreatureKind is designed to be easy to pick up, but the more you play, the more rewarding it becomes. There’s a good dose of humor, and we’ve put a lot of effort into the sound design to help players enter a kind of flow state. About KreatureKind:
KreatureKind is a wholesome, narrative-rich deckbuilder set in a colorful, hand-drawn world where magic is about to disappear – unless its wasteful inhabitants change their ways and stop using mana for unnecessary things. Players take on the role of a group of activists who set out to start a mana-saving movement, by debating the world’s cryptids and mythological monsters. With a focus on non-violent conflict resolution, players build and customize their deck of cards to charm, reason with, or reassure quirky and adorable “kreatures.”
Featuring a blend of turn-based strategy, heartwarming storytelling, and cozy vibes, KreatureKind encourages players to think differently about battles and what it means to be heroic.
